Thursday, November 26 Chester College´s community celebrated Thanksgiving. Special activities were organised at the various school levels, to both understand the origin and development of this American festivity, and also to deepen into the meaning of gratefulness today.
Our teachers Ms Kami Webb, Ms Mary Glynn and Mr Reid Edlund gave a chat at the Assembly Area to share their own personal and family traditions around Thanksgiving.
The dining area was nicely decorated by 2 boarding school students, Mar Milan and Hafsa Salih, and the school cook prepared a magnificent turkey-based lunch for everyone. Our American staff felt al home, or so they said, and we´re very happy for it.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! And let us never forget to say thanks for our numberless blessings, every single day.
