Thursday May 12, 5pm. Open talk: “The Secrets of Overseas Admissions”, by Monica Rude

On Thursday May 12, at 5pm, Ms Monica G. Rude will be giving a free, open talk in Chester College entitled “The Secrets of Overseas Admissions”. Everyone´s welcome! Do come along!

This seminar will help students and families separate admissions fact from fiction and enjoy the application process a little more. We´ll discuss SAT/ACT, IELTS/TOEFL, exam scores, activities and everything else universities evaluate. Attendees will get straight answers about what English speaking admissions committees really look for and how they ultimately decide who gets in. The presentation will focus on undergraduates but will also include helpful tips for graduate level candidates who are interested in higher level qualifications.

Monica G. Rude, director of College Wise Palo Alto, is a certified teacher and college counsellor. She has a BA in History and Educational Studies from Washington University in Saint Louis, and Msc in the Anthropology of Youth and Childhood and Education form Brunel University London., and is currently working on an Ed. D. at the UCL Institute of Education.
