Chester International Summer Camps is participating this summer in the 4-level programme TRINITY STARS: YOUNG PERFORMERS IN ENGLISH AWARD, designed to encourage the teaching and learning of English language through drama, music and performance. It is a group award, designed for children aged anywhere between 3 and 12 years old, who are starting to learn English.
Preparing children for the award shows how performance-related activity supports learning, motivates children and builds their confidence and communication skills.
Today, Thursday July 28, Ms Jennifer Barrett, official Trinity College London examiner, visited Chester College to watch the performances that our younger MINI and Junior campers have been preparing, and also lo lead a professional development session for staff members.
All participating campers received a Trinity Stars medal at the end of their performances and will also receive a Trinity Stars diploma with their names, around 6 weeks from today.
Yesterday, we concluded our yearly in-house GESE and ISE Trinity College London session. We think it was a success, from the very positive comments received by the examiner, although individual results will take some weeks to arrive.
Our warmest congratulations to all campers, and their teacher, for their huge effort, drive and energy!
