Chester EVENTS: May programme

We are incredibly proud to announce that we have launched a new initiative at Chester College International School:

Chester EVENTS!

Chester EVENTS  is a series of educational activities targeted at both children, teenagers and adults. Both current students and the wider public are invited to attend all the events. Examples of some of the exciting events include:

  • Saturday workshops for both Infant and Primary children delivered through English
  • Presentations and seminars aimed at parents
  • Careers Talks for teenagers
  • Collaborations with nurseries and other educational organisations in Galicia.

The following Chester Events are planned for the coming month of May. We hope you can attend!

SAT Presentation and Q&A

When?: Tuesday 7th May at 18:30-19.30

Who?: Secondary students and their parents and the general public

Description: What are the SAT exams? How will they benefit my child? Where and when do they take place and how can my child prepare for them? Come along to the first of our seminar events to find out the answers to all these questions!

Spring Activities in English

When?: Saturday 11th May from 11:30-13:00

Who?: Children aged 3-7

Description: A morning of fun activities centered around the theme of Springtime.

Fantastic Forces Workshop

When?: Saturday 25th May from 11:00 – 13:00

Who?: Children aged 6-12

Description: In this final workshop in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) series, we will be thinking about forces – we will make a rocket from everyday materials and try and throw an egg from the top floor without it breaking!
