Mission

The aim of Chester College is to provide our students with an outstanding well-rounded education which will help them to reach their full potential and prepare them intellectually for future careers in a global context and higher study.

Expectations for student learning
  

To offer students a firm grounding in all academic spheres –sciences, arts and technology- which will assist entry into courses of higher education and into the world of work in any country.

To attach special importance to modern languages, principally Spanish and English, as an
indispensable means of international communication and understanding.
To include, in the course of study, subjects and activities that will help to provide greater educational depth.
To increase motivation in students through the development of sound study skills and habits.
To provide individual attention and recognize distinct personalities and qualities.

The College offers Religious Catholic Education.

Methodology

The aforementioned objectives are attained through individual and group work in classes with small numbers. Students are encouraged to apply previous and new knowledge to problem solving, and taught to analyze, synthesize, and critically evaluate information given. As far as is possible, students are helped to learn through experiment. The College sets out to make optimum use of educational technology.
